About 6ish weeks ago I had a come-to-Jesus moment with my friend and mentor Justin Brooke. We were sitting side by side at a folding table in the church family room, discussing my website and newsletter, "The Associate Report." Justin has been there with me through it all. In fact, he was the one who encouraged me to start the project in the first place.
I took all of his tips and insights and built this email list from 0 to 104 subscribers over the course of about 6 months. I faithfully sent a weekly newsletter to you, my wonderful subscribers, and I must say... I enjoyed every bit of it. My "creative itch" has been vigorously scratched since I started this project in October of 2024, and through it, I have learned so very much. But sitting at the table talking to Justin that night, I realized that I went way too broad with The Associate Report. I tried to write about anything and everything. I wanted to create a brand that was so vast that I could write about whatever I wanted... In a sentence, I have been creating what I want, instead of creating what my market wants.
This has been my biggest mistake in this business so far, but also my most valuable lesson. Justin explained to me that in business, we have to find out what the market wants, and give them that, not try with all our might to convince people that they SHOULD want whatever it is we want to sell them. He told me that I have people telling me, "Dude, I will give you $20 for an apple pie RIGHT NOW, just give me an apple pie!"
But I have been responding with "I get it, man, but I PROMISE that if you just buy this pecan pie, you will absolutely LOVE IT!"

That night, with the encouragement and guidance of a trusted advisor, I decided to put The Associate Report Newsletter and brand in the ground.

That's right, the Associate Report brand is officially dead...
Forever.
....Never to be resurrected.

Well, I'm glad you asked. Amidst all of this sadness and mourning, I have good news for you. After that heartbreaking moment with Justin, I pivoted. That night, I started going down the road I should have started down last year when I created The Associate Report.
For the past 6-8 weeks, I've been working tirelessly to rebrand and create something brand new and super special for you. I won't get into all of the details now... those will be revealed in the coming days. For now, all you need to know is that from now on, this email list will be about one thing, and one thing only:
Real Estate.
This is the realm I have the most experience in. Its the topic I am most qualified to talk about, and the niche where I can bring you the most value (as I have been in various corners of the industry for almost a decade now). Now, you may or may not be interested in real estate. That is ok. If you aren't, you are welcome to unsubscribe. If you aren't interested in buying assets, creating passive income, and building wealth, this may be where we part ways. For those of you who are interested in real estate...
